This makes me happy on multiple levels, Rani! First, that you and John are working together. My favorite part of talking to him about Geezer is when we’re kind of riffing, and he gets a little spark his eye, tilts head a bit, and says, “You know, what if…” and whatever follows that what if is invariably a smart and creative idea I would’ve never come up with. Of course, I love his answers as well. And I am second dibs on those Hermes dishware! They’re adorable. John, I will happily take them off your hands.

My mother is an antiquer and a collector. She collected vintage children's china and displayed them in my room when I was growing up. When my daughter was born, she gave them to me. We glue gunned them onto (removable) shelves as decoration. When it came time to move, we couldn't get the china off the shelves! I saw the shelves the last time I was home, with the china still attached, in the basement.

Moral of the story: china can be pretty decor, but find a better way to attach it so it doesn't fall off and break!

What an interesting story, thank you for sharing! I’ll be honest, I’m not familiar with “children’s china.” I’ll have to learn more because I’m curious. And clearly didn’t have any! But I like to use glue.
