Love 3 keepers and a regret every week and this was especially good! Love Laurel (and your) humor! I love family heirloom keepers, especially ones that are repurposed!
Amy you’re the best. And indeed, there is nothing liking having a unique piece with meaning. I have a bracelet from my grandmother that I turned into a necklace. Last time I wore it, someone else had a similar one in their family - was so fun to compare.
This is another fantastic 3 keepers & a regret. And I can relate to the "house poor" feeling. I've been house poor thrice. Twice were great decisions. Once... not so much.
Thanks for reading Allison! If you're willing to share more on what turned the decisions great would be awesome to understand. If the value goes up, you can keep upgrading. But that requires selling / moving / spending more. I'm also old enough (*cough*) that I've seen real estate markets grow and totally tank. Which puts a damper on my enthusiasm -- value doesn't always go up. That said, I've been shocked to see home values around me skyrocket in the past 18 months. Would have been killer investments...(didn't happen!)
My regret is that I was never terrorized by Laurel in line for SNL!
Ha! I Love it
Ha! I needed that. Maybe @Laurel Cummings can figure something out.
