Crazy how protein just infiltrated everyone's diets all of the sudden. I mean we used to prioritize it but now its all anyone ever talks about. I feel like all I see at the store is protein cinnamon rolls, protein cereal, etc. And you're right... I still can't get enough!

Have you tried the cinnamon rolls? I'd like a full report! Doesn't take much to tempt me and I can justify it, right? It's got protein!

The Good Culture cottage cheese shortage says everything we need to know about this moment (I’m part of the problem. I’m trying to hit 120gm/day 😅)

Me too! Any suggestions you want to share -- please do! I'm trying to do the protein power mixed into water...quite clumpy.

I tried the Good Culture cottage cheese after seeing all the hype. I expected to be blown away. Nope. It's just cottage cheese.

I like the good culture! I mix vanilla protein powder into plain greek yogurt and then top with half melted frozen blueberries. Really good

Ok I’ll have to try the yogurt - I’ve only done the cottage cheese & couldn’t understand the hype. I’m with your on the partly dethawed frozen berries — I’ve been doing a berry mix for more antioxidants.

Great article, Rani. I think about this topic often. The need and push for additional protein seemed to come out of nowhere, and now my wife and I are looking to incorporate it into our beverages, our snacks, our pasta. And this pretty much started for us in 2026.

I tried the protein water you suggested. No matter how much I shake that shaker, it's still clumpy. It seems to need 2x the water / the container is half the size it needs to be.

Right! It’s everywhere and in everything. Yet the challenge is real.
