The Return Window live with Jennie Egerdie & Rani Monson

A recording where we talked about...pretty much everything!

Elections, Halloween, voting, Miss Piggy, candy, American history, Canada, citizenship and teeth whitening.

Writer and performer Jennie Egerdie joins me for The Return Window: the things we’re stuck with, the ones we’d send back, and what it costs us.

We get into becoming a US citizen right in time for a tariff war with Canada, tiny hands and feet as a final-sale item, insurance as haggling by design, grocery-store ethics spirals, and what success actually feels like.

What’s the final-sale thing you’re stuck with? Tell me in the comments.

Our Recommendations:

  • Jennie Egerdie says Crest Whitestrips are a waste - don’t bother. I’m currently a fan of Marvis whitening mint toothpaste in a cool silver tube, which reminds me of an Airstream. My first tube is nearly empty and I’ll be ordering a second.

  • Jennie also recommended Molasses Kisses — they’re her favorite sweet treat. I’ve never had one. Who wants to share?
